I toyed with the idea of vegetarianism for a brief time in my teens, mainly because most of the bands I liked were partial to the odd nut loaf or two.I snapped out of this notion sharpish after my first properly cooked rack of lamb (who knew they were good for more than just gambolling?).I'm still a huge fan of vegetables, especially when cooked to perfection to accompany a nice joint of meat.
I respect the right of any individual to refuse to eat meat and always carefully prepare special meals for any vegetarians who eats at our home.
I think the comments attributed to Heather Mills as spokesperson for VIVA (Vegetarians International Voice for Animals- who knew they existed before now?) regarding the alternatives to cows milk (rats milk anyone?) are ridiculous in the extreme.Apart from the fact that it would be difficult enough to catch the buggers..don't rats have rights according to VIVA?...
Point of interest: Heathers idea is not an original one.Fat Tony - Simpsons mafia character, tried feeding it to Bart and Millhouse in an episode of the cartoon with little success.

The worlds gone mad.
Is it just me?
